Bitcoin is perfect money because perfect money is pure information.

First money was different commodities, then money was gold, then money was gold represented by paper, then money was paper represented by bank ledgers.

This is a phyiscal way to view money but money has only ever been information. The items we used as money were just a way to communicate information about value to eachother.

When humans exchanged a gold coin that was the mechanism used to communicate to the rest of the world that value had been transferred from one person to another and that one person now held more and one person now held less. The gold was the informational mechanism telling everyone else who had what amount of value in society.

In a prehistoric tribe of cavemen who keep tally of one person owing another person some food by etching it into a cave wall, that ledger on the cave wall was their form of monetary information because it was their method of transacting and communicating value.

Money is pure information we just havent had the ability to represent money as pure information before bitcoin, instead we have had to use inefficient abstractions to represent monetary information. Bitcoin represents the first time humanity has had the ability to represent money as pure information making information the monetary asset itself.

Every other form of money we have ever used in history has been inefficient and inferior. Bitcoin is money in its most pure form.

The true state of money is to be pure information, the monetary asset itself is pure information and bitcoin is the first technology that has allowed money as information to be globally uniform, decentralised and recognised by all nations on earth equally.
