I was looking to earn some sats, so I built a spreadsheet where one can mine bitcoin in Microsoft Excel by pressing F9 (calculate). No macros and no array formulas to keep it simple, and results uploadable to the blockchain so anyone could get the block award. 1 hash per second ???? it won’t break any records or change the industry, but I hoped it would get more bitcoin exposure to nocoiners, inspire more people to start nodes, and make some sats at the same time.
If it goes well I’ll add some more aspects like a website submitblock, improving spreadsheet UX, adding mempool transactions, using segwit, etc. Need to see if anyone cares first, I guess.
