Bitcoin mining isn't going to well in Texas these days, due to a heat wave we have yearly called summer.

It's actually a really interesting economy. It's difficult for a power grid to handle extreme swings in demand. So crypto mining could raise the water level allowing more power generation to come online and helping the grid "beef up" to prepare for major power events.

As long as mining shuts off when these events occur, mining could actually help smooth demand of a power grid.

In the future I could even see real time adjustments to mining to control power usage as opposed to raising and lowering the supply.

Anyway, I'm interested to see if Bitcoin actually has a use case to HELP power grids, especially green energy, which is more difficult to power up/down vs. a coal or natural gas facility
