I studied the historical returns of BTC from 2017 to today's price (importing data from Binance's API) and what i found using a pivot chart is that the highest hourly returns BTC has happens at midnight on most Saturdays. I don't exactly know why, could be for the start of the weekend or something, but the equity linearity of a strategy that buys at midnight UTC and sells at 1 AM UTC is something exceptional: R squared is around 90%. Why is BTC frequently going consistently up every Saturday at midnight? does anybody have a clue? BTC average hourly returns per weekday statistics.
