Blockstream Jade cant get past logo after firmware update 0.1.48 restart

Got the jade couple days ago and I still cant get past firmware update

Im having an issue where jade gets stuck on logo after update restart. When I tried to go from 0.1.34 to 0.1.48 I cannot finish the update via bluetooth, after the bar completes jade restarts and just stays on the logo screen forever until I turn it off and on again and Im back at 0.1.34. I am using iOS to Jade green setup.

Its the same behavior when I connect to my m1 pro and trying update via desktop. To be clear, the update itself runs just fine, but after its done it reboots and wont get past the initial Jade logo, this happens on bluetooth (ios), usb (macos), desktop with blockstream green

Ive tried restarting the bluetooth, forget/re-pair bluetooth, forgetting jade from green, factory reset, Ive went thru the help docs I even purchased new usb-c thunderbolt data cable nothings working.

has anyone ran into these issues before? this happens everytime regardless if I have a wallet setup or not, factory reset makes no difference.
