BNB Beacon Chain swap to Smart Chain

I am hoping for some unbiased advice on how to resolve my issue. I have a significant amount of BNB staking in Trust wallet app. I recently saw their notice about having to swap from beacon chain to smart chain, and I have read that the official deadline to swap is June 15th. I know little about this so I was hesitant to do it and only unstaked a small portion of my staked bnb to test it out, but it now I’m locked out from unstaking the remaining amount for 7 days. That plus the additional 7 days I would need to unstake the rest would put me around June 18th as the earliest I could swap to BEP20.

I posted this in the trust wallet sub and I received a bunch of direct messages that said I could unstake my remaining BNB using DApps and sent me links to defisaver or Vercel.app. I have no clue if this works or not, but I don’t want to click on any random links. I just would like an honest opinion on how I should handle this. Should I wait and see if there is a recovery period after the June 15th deadline to get my BNB back or should I try one of these risky ways of unstaking my BNB in order to swap to BNB Smart Chain.
