Boba Network upgraded to OVM 2.0 today, Ahead of Optimism

Boba Network, an optimistic rollup, upgraded to OVM 2.0 today. Optimism is planning to upgrade in two weeks. https://twitter.com/BobaStatus/status/1453641379054161922?s=20

This means that Boba Network is now EVM-equivalent, not just EVM-compatible. DApps can now deploy with one-click without any code changes. No excuses for DApps not to integrate. The network is exactly like Ethereum. The upgrade is also simpler, cheaper and faster than previous versions.

With the upgrade, Boba Network has introduced fraud proving in order to decentralize the rollup. Arbitrum and Optimism are still running on a single sequencer without fraud proving.

Other unique features Boba Network has are:

· Fast exits (bypass the 7 day exit period)

· Hybrid compute (can trigger AWS Lambda for complex computations not capable on Ethereum)
