Bought near ATH, portfolio is still down

Just a short personal story.
I've invested in crypto near ATH when it was hot and everyone was talking about it (Tesla accepts BTC etc.) but since the major dip I've decided not to watch my portfolio anymore. I didn't watch my portfolio until recently, when I heard people around me telling crypto is booming again such as "BTC is doing great!" and "Ethereum came out with a big upgrade. I think it will surpass BTC!". This made me really curious again. My plan was actually to not watch my portfolio again until I hear some big positive news about crypto.

So as of today, my colleagues and even the news were talking about crypto. I decided it was finally time to watch my portfolio again after months of not watching and to my surprise, I'm still down. I didn't DCA during the major dip and I regret it. Maybe it was because of my inexperience or I was just plain scared. My portfolio could have been green again but it is what it is. We live and we learn. DCA is the key and you never know what happens in the near future. I'll be watching the charts every now and then and will also try to put up some buy orders and continue to DCA. If there's going to be a 'dip' again, I'll make sure to have some fiat ready!
