BTC Direct to other parties bank

Hi all. I'm slowly learning about BTC and it's incredible potential! Forgive the beginner question, but is there some kind of wallet or exchange where I can send BTC to someone else - ie my wife, and have it transfer to the native currency - GBP in my case, and be deposited into their bank account? I think Strike does something like this, but that's not available in the UK. This idea would be a great way for Bitcoiner's to still interface with it, and use it in the still many situations it's not usable - ie with others who don't have wallets.

Would you have any other work arounds or suggestions if something like this doesn't exist yet?
