BTC in Politics?

BTC Community, is it a viable idea to run a political campaign to support Bitcoin investors?
I have just had an idea to run for a seat in a city parliament (Eastern Europe) to support BTC implementation.
Tho 1/40+ seats is a small voice, if successful, city parliaments can vote for local tax breaks, which is an interesting opportunity for miners.
They might be interested in funding the campaign, which is needed to rich out to masses not only about BTC, but also other local issues.
It is believed that a successful campaign can cost up to 6-7 BTC, which sounds doable especially in a bull-run.
Electricity cost here is also 0,067$ per kWh which makes mining interesting to international miners (especially with tax breaks)

Do you think anyone would be interested in such campaign?

P.S. What if one day BTC investors create a new "commintern": hodlers unite :P
