Buy bots on telegram

Yo guys. I am wondering, but still can't figure out, so I decided to ask here. Almost every coin nowadays have some TG group. In those groups I can see buying bots showing some details of a transaction like amount of purchase in dollars, tx, position, etc. In some coins the amount is really big and one may have impression that big money is pouring in. Hence my question: can this bots just show nonexistent transactions (can they lie)? Or, most probably, can it be just wash trading or volume bots pumping volume making txs that are showed by buybots, to show the coin is hot? In other words does the thing showed by buybot has any real value?
