Buying strategy advice

I am a newbie and new convert to Bitcoin. I was so opposed due to scams, and the use in the black market. I am fully convinced I need to own a percentage of my net worth in Bitcoin to buy and hold for the long term. I’m retired comfortably already fyi.

I’m reading constantly about safe storage etc. But at this point, if you were getting in making a significant purchase (high 5 to 6 figures) for the long term would you DCA in over a time period (if so how long?) or just buy around $29,000 before the BlackRock ETF is approved hopefully in Sept?

I’d love to hear smart opinions from ya’ll. Thanks!
