Dual Citizen here. Verified with my US ID back in the day so I could withdraw more than 2BTC a day. Not in the US now and I want to use UK id in the UK and Binance doesn't want to re-validate me. They basically told me I am stuck with the US Verification for life. I mentioned about being an expat, they said use Binance.US instead and they will not be removing the US verification. Well as an Expat you can't use Binance.US. So what I'm just banned from using binance now for the rest of my life because I decided to comply with them before KYC was heavily enforced??? Had I used my UK passport in the first place I wouldn't have this issue, but I validated before being in the US and trading crypto was an issue.
Hindsight is 20-20. Lesson learned never give up your info willingly, it will bite you in the ass. It's a shame because Binance was such a great platform, but their support nowadays is just terrible. Ik you don't want to serve people in the US, but your lack of support in this manner is just leaving expats in the gray zone and essentially banning them for life. I see I am not welcome on your platform so i will take my business elsewhere.
