I want to buy a NFT on opensea, which is a reasonable price but its sold in WETH. I can buy weth on coinbase using their 3rd party. Will I avoid the heavy ETH fees doing this? Instead of converting ETH to WETH, just buy WETH from coinbase and send directly to MM? I'm just hesitant because I read of people sending WETH to exchanges, only to realise they should have unwrapped it first.
