Can I get an explanation for why people have this primitive behavior?

So ... I have been involved in the crypto market since 2017 and I learned and saw so many things, from successful projects that mooned to scams that disappeared overnight. In the majority of cases, seems to be the same investor persona, who seeks to get rich quickly without having the proper knowledge or the "time" (effort) to learn about crypto. How is it possible to be so many people of this type? It is like a cycle that never stops, ... like people are goldfish that have a collective memory of a few seconds.

Recently, I started to do DYOR reports for different crypto projects, and I observed that the ones that have technical fundamentals with a solid team of developers are forgotten or ignored, while the projects solely focused on marketing, image, promises, and shiny words are growing super fast. This is not just crypto space, is the world we see in general. A scientific paper that talks about a token will be ignored if a hooker tattooed with BTC on its ass will appear overnight on social media ... and people will invest based on this information. However, I saw someone once that was investing in tokens based on chart color (those applications out there has a simplified mode where colors the whole chart with green if there was again or with red if there was a loss in that day for the token).

I am lost in this world, and at least this sub seems to have a collective education and understanding of how investing and crypto work in general.(I hope=)))

PS: Personal Observation, I got instant engagement if I put comedy flare, and people will make their decision to comment based on the title and the flair ... what I have written above seems too much for some individuals.
