Can your wallet be compromised sending tokens to another address?

I’m fairly new to trading and very new to the bsc. I have invested in some great projects and been rugged a few times. I invested in a project two days ago and it tanked. From like a $130k MC to $15k market cap in 8 hours.

Now they are saying on telegram they are going to do a relaunch with a new name. They are telling everyone that holds over 1 million tokens and didn’t sell once that they can send their old tokens to a pinned address and they will airdrop you the new token when it’s launched.

Is this a red flag to anyone? I have already lost the money at this point and I don’t mind sending the tokens and getting an airdrop on the next launch. But can I get attacked or compromise my wallet by sending tokens to an address? I have heard of dusting attacks and not sure if I can be scammed this way.
