I’m relatively new to buying and selling crypto. I have known about it for a long time and have owned crypto before on various apps and wallets, so this isn’t my first time using Coinbase either.
Recently I wanted to buy $100 USD worth of Bitcoin to hold onto for a while. However I ended up needing the money for something else and sold it back after a day or two of holding it.
I sold it for USD on Coinbase, and it’s been maybe 2-3 days ago now since selling it.
However I can’t withdraw the USD funds from my Coinbase account to my bank. It tells me I only have $1.24 available balance to cash out and the remaining amount listed as unavailable balance or on hold.
I made sure it was the actual USD currency and not the USDC stablecoin.
Why am I unable to cash out my available balance, and for how long will it be stuck on hold in Coinbase?
