Cashless crypto pros in developing countries thoughts

I want to share a thought as a new btc user/adopter in south africa. I've been mugged before, it's a terrible experience. This was before I got into crypto. Crime is a world wide problem, but if my money is safe and accessible in a cashless form, muggers may take my wallet (rather that than my life or a trip to the icu) but they sure as heck wont be able to rob me of my hard earned Sats.
