EDIT: title should be Celsius' So a fellow Celsius lender/investor/you name it lost this insane amount of money: I think that when we lurk on this sub and see that this or that person lost money, we often attribute this to scams, hacks and such, but never underestimate the ability of apparently good projects to go downhill fast. I remember when Celsius was advertised north and south in this sub and by influencers (or should I say paid shillers?) on YT and such. I checked it, saw the APYs and everything else and did not feel comfortable enough to do so. Not because of the project itself, but because I don't like the idea of giving away the rights to my funds, even on a premium. A friend of mine gave Celsius' folks a few years before they went bankrupt and god was he right. We're on a bear market now, but the bull will be back eventually and with it tons of similarly awesome/promising/game-changing projects and their hypes, but please be careful. No project is a game-changer until it has actually changed the game. Did you folks lose a lot of money with Celsius? If so, how are you coping? [link] [comments] |
