Chase Bank Blocking CDC Deposits and Transactions

I've been in the crypto space for years now, with minimal friction between my banking services and making deposits to CEXs. Although Coinbase, Gemini, Kraken, and Kucoin still work great, Chase is now declining purchases made with all of my cards at CDC.

When speaking with a representative, she repeated the same line, "We advise you to use alternative transfer solutions." When asked what I could do to lift the holds, she said "nothing". I informed them I'd be searching for alternative banking solutions and promptly was told "good day" followed by hanging up.

I never thought it could happen to me, but it sure did. It can happen to you too, so look out for when it does.
