To exchange EUR into BRL (Brazilian Real), I could:
a) use TransferWise to convert EUR into BRL and deposit directly into a bank account of someone I know, or
b) I could sell EUR for USDT, transfer USDT to this person's Binance account so they can buy BRL with the USDT I sent them. Then, I'd ask them to withdraw the BRL to their bank account.
Is option b worth it? Seems like I would be paying the actual market rates and the fees would be lower compared to option a.
Or is there something I'm not seeing that would make using TransferWise the better choice?
