Cheapest way of getting BTC and ETH to a UK bank account

I've learn historic recommendation which stated that you simply purchase USDC, then switch that to Kraken which I did for zero further charge.

But then I needed to sell the USDC to GBP at a poor change fee on Kraken, they usually charged a £2.50 payment. So I began with £256 and obtained £250 back.

Then despatched that to my checking account which incurred a ultimate £1.50 payment which is ok.

Certainly theres a better approach of doing this?
