Clarification on Binance Chain BNB (BEP-2), Binance Smart Chain (BEP-20), Binance USD (BEP2) and Binance-Peg USD (BEP-20) on PancakeSwap?

Hello,

Manga Token is paired with BUSD (BEP-2) on PancakeSwap, but on BscScan, it is a BEP-20 token: https://bscscan.com/token/0xc2cb89bbb5bba6e21db1dfe13493dfd7dcbabd68

I purchased Manga Token using Binance Chain BNB (BEP-2) swapped to Binance Smart Chain (BEP-20) on PancakeSwap, not knowing and understanding that the pairing was $MANGA/BUSD. I was still able to purchase it and it is in my wallet. My wallet with the exact amount shows up as a holder on BscScan.

I tested to see if I could swap Manga Token to Binance Chain BNB (BEP-2), and it worked just fine.

Are these types of tokens interchangeable so long as they are BEP-20? I apologize if this question has been asked, but I tried searching for this question and I could not find anything on this specifically.

1. Binance Chain BNB (BEP-2)
2. Binance Smart Chain (BEP-20)
3. Binance USD (BEP-2)
4. Binance-Peg USD (BEP-20)

If I am to properly purchase $MANGA/BUSD, should I be buying Binance USD (BEP-2) ---> swap to ---> Binance-Peg USD (BEP-20)?

Or should I swap Binance USD (BEP-2) to $MANGA, outright?
