So I intended to buy coins through coinbase.
I made and verified an account, provided permission through Plaid to transfer and supply bank info.
Process broke down, Coinbase "can't see" my bank.
I contacted support. Ticket shot down with, "it's my problem."
Next week, I get an alert that I've logged in to my bank (I haven't). This repeats at off-hours.
Coinbase is passively collecting my banking data, with no intent to act as an exchange. Anyway I managed to get in and pluck the connection out of Plaid.
