Coinbase Eth staking Ontario

Hello all you ethereum enthusiasts, I too love eth but want to start staking on coinbase. I do not see an option to stake on my assets page, and I just put money in to do so and now I paid a decent fee instead of my regular exchange. Is it even possible for Ontarians to stake on coinbase or is it unavailable in my region. Because the support page says staking is available in Canada but it won't allow me to do so. Thanks for any clear answers you can give.
