Coinbase pro saying I have insufficient funds when I try to buy crypto even though my bank is account IS linked???

I tried buying crypto off coinbase pro. My bank account is linked. It was saying insufficient funds.

I ended up just paying through coinbase because of this (heavy fees ????)

Does anyone know what was wrong with coinbase pro? You don’t have to actually deposit money first on coinbase pro, right?
