Color Museum (currently showing ads on Reddit) is an obvious massive NFT scam

Currently, Color Museum is advertising on Reddit promising investors they can own a color and be paid royalties everytime that color is used on the Etherum network as an NFT.

"Own your color for eternity—or as long as Ethereum exists*. As a new primitive, the tokenID associated with your color resolves completely on-chain, now and forever."

The ad says "get paid royalties every time an NFT uses your color" which is obviously not true and shadily worded.

The truth is you won't receive anything from anyone unless the artist/creator of an NFT decides to use their platform, that nobody has ever heard of or will probably ever use.

This is just a clear scam to get people to buy one of their, and I quote

"only 10,000 colors will become a Color NFT. Just so you know, the human eye can see about 2.3 million colors\.*

\Who said that? Scientists."*

Cringe.

I won't link them, but if you see the ad, don't be fooled by their cash grab on false promises. Their terms and conditions page is one paragraph -

"By using this website, you agree to hold Color Museum Limited harmless from all problems, errors and failures, despite cause or source of the aforementioned and accept sole responsibility for all transactions conducted."

In English, this means when you realize you've been made a tit out of, you can't come crying to us for your stupidity.

TL;DR buy an NFT that is literally just a shade of color for thousands of dollars and be happy about it.
