Companies Using Crypto For Good

tl;dr: Looking for crypto-native, mission-driven companies that want to use crypto for good that are hiring for partnership/relationship managers.

Hi everyone - I'm looking for a job in crypto but I've been frustrated with the kinds of businesses hiring.

With the institutional wave in crypto right now, some/many of these companies are hiring.

E.g., Lots of institutional custody and staking services serving the VCs, hedge funds, big hodlers

I come from TradFi, spent many years moving around and up, I know financial services well.

I also know crypto and blockchain quite well.

I'm not anti-bank but I am anti-continue working for institutional money. It's so purposeless to me. And I don't want to help rich people, CEOs, and owners make more money, meanwhile, the bonus pool is always flat, even in record years!

What initially attracted me to crypto a few years ago to a point of leaving TradFi was this, sort of, renegade culture.

I know this renegade culture still exists, but as I got to know the crypto world more deeply, I'm not terribly impressed with what's being built.

Defi, for what it's worth and promise of helping the unbanked be bankless and access financial services, is basically just speculating and gambling on unregistered security of private companies. Maybe one day, but if you talk to people outside of North America and Europe (I have), they aren't really using crypto the way the theory intends.

Back to what I'm seeking your help on, I'm at an important cross roads in my career. I just can't stand TradFi anymore, but that's where my skills and knowledge are - finance, financial services, and sales.

I'll tell you what I don't want to do: non-profit. I explored that field. You just make no fucking money. It's a joke. And vets in that field tell you shrewdly, don't come to this field.

The thing is, I love helping people. It's my most natural trait. I'm also very good at leading and inspiring. However, I went to also make a decent salary. Doesn't have to be crazy, I'd be happy with $120-150k as a manager or C-level person at a mission-driven company.

And I believe that blockchain and crypto as a form of financial services could be an equalizer to deliver aid and access to global financial services to places that need both (all else being equal).

However, I need help identifying some companies that are trying to do good in this fucked up world and use crypto and blockchain as a tool to drive whatever they're trying to do.

Can anyone help point me in a few directions. Frankly, even just a few leads will help me tremendously because I can use them as breadcrumbs to find comparable companies, I just need to know where to start.

Lastly, a little about me while remaining somewhat pseudo-anonymous: -~15 years in TradFi doing sales, credit, ops, strategy at big banks -years of volunteer work for good causes -have managed prejects and people -Speak English and a fairly good at a couple of other Latin language, not fluent, but give me two weeks in country and I'm chatting away -well traveled, love people, love cultures
