Could Culture Changes the Market?

Last week, I received an impressive reply to my former thread on “Why decentralization is better than centralization?”, which says “humankind is merely NPCs and you cannot change shit.”

Whether humankind really has free will and can truly shape their world by their own is a complex philosophical debate which I won't delve into deeply here. Instead, I want to give an answer on a simplified edition of this problem which Web3 society will be very interested in:

Could our ideas, beliefs and culture background influence the market? If so, how?

In the latest section of "The Prehistory of Web3", my answer is “yes”.

By setting a three-factor model, I try to put culture, politics and the market into one dynamic framework to explain the centralization process of China more accurately. Knowing more about a substantial centralization and its culture background may help us know better on what should be done to avoid similar pitfalls.
