Couldn't AI disinformation (generative images and videos) be solved with NFTs?

The problem we're about to run into, and its a very big problem, is that Generative AI is getting so good so quickly that no one is going to be able to tell what is real anymore. A normal user without any experience in photo or video editing, can create content that looks so real, no human will be able to distinguish between AI and reality. Not even AI detecting software is anywhere close to accurately detecting the truth and unfortunately AI is moving at far too fast of a rate where the detection software is already left in the stoneage.

I think this is where Blockchain technology can come in. If every piece of content generated also generates an NFT tied to the original creator's ethereum address, then we can at least have accountability and a single source of truth. If for instance a video of the US President is released stating the US is going to war with Russia, we can see that the video's NFT doesn't trace back to the White House's Ethereum wallet address and therefore cannot be trusted as real. I think this the first big opportunity for the Crypto space to solve a huge problem that currently doesn't have an answer.

What am I not seeing? Why am I wrong?
