Ever since I was a 14 y.o, I heard about BTC and wanted to buy it, not as a currency but as a investment, I didn't understand the tech but I knew it was something worth saving up my piggie bank for.
I only seriously got into crypto currency after the market crashed during covid, one of my gaming bros taught me everything there is to know and a year later I'm happy to call myself a semi-pro crypto investor.
As a 20 y.o I know I'm very different from my other friends who spend their money like there's no tomorrow, not that there's anything wrong with it, but it's just not my thing.
I don't have a materialistic mindset that non-coiners my age have, I care about what I'm buying and how I'm spending my money. I chose the most bang-for-buck products I can find over brand or flex.
If you're a Asian kid, the pressure of studying so you can make money is very transparent and immense, the school system develops you into a work slave without any thoughts of creativity.
I'm glad I've seen what the other side looks like, Crypto has educated about responsible spending, investing, financial freedom at a very young age which makes me look at the world differently.
The prime minister of India, Narendra Modi said ""we must protect our youths from BTC" and I think this is exactly what he fears, the government doesn't want to expose people to investing at young ages cuz they break the cycle of work slaves.
