Hey guys, long time lurker, first time poster.
I recently welcomed my son into the world and I was wondering if anyone else had a child recently (or not) and endeavored to build a portfolio for them to inherit. I've already opened a brokerage account and RESP in his name to start building traditional financial security for him but I was also interested in building a crypto portfolio for him. My initial instinct was to just give him my crypto when he's old enough (I hold 40% BTC, 40% ETH and 5% ADA, 5% SOL, and 10% losing shitcoins) but I suspect there is a better way for us both to get "regarded".
I'll be honest, I know a lot more about traditional finance and the instruments available than I do crypto but I love this space and try to read up on as much as I can (significantly less time now, obviously).
Anyone have any recommendations on the best way to proceed?
Thanks in advance.
