Crypto fund commission: what's the typical rate?

All Cryptocurrencies

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of any crypto funds? I'm just wondering what's a typical commission rate in this industry. Just curious to find out. I talked to one and they charge 20% on gains up to 200%. After that, it's something like 50% on any further gains. It sounds pretty excessive to me, especially when you compare it to funds investing in more traditional asset classes like traditional financial securities or real estate or whatever. But I don't know, maybe this is typical and standard in the crypto world.

Anyone's got a clue? Some examples with names would be really appreciated as well.

Thanks a bunch. Appreciate it.

PS. Two people now mentioning the word scam. It's not a scam. I know the manager of the fund very well. It's just that I'm not sure about the fees, that's all.
