Crypto is helping lots of people here.

First, I'm from Argentina and everything im about to write is about it.

Today exactly 3 years ago the quarantine was announced here in Argentina, lots of people couldn't attend to their works and the "essential" workers still working as usual.

"essential" workers and "other" workers that where in small and medium size company's started to receive 40% of their salary from the government and 60% of their company.

This put them on "fragile " situation when they where unavailable to buy dollars (also, the limit per persona here it's 200$ USD monthly)

So? How everyone fooled this ridiculous law?

Crypto. People that didn't even know what crypto was started to use crypto to buy and sell USDT and BTC in replacement of the USD.

There's out here change houses that accept USDT and BTC in exchange for pesos or paper USD.

Adopting crypto helped so many to pay their mortgages, savings or starting their own business buying anything from other countries.

In my case, few days ago I worked as a virtual assistant for a company in the US and they paid me via BTC, I traded it to USDT and sold it in P2P, then withdraw it to my Fintech wallet in pesos without giving a penny to my robbing government.
