Cryptocurrency, is a currency, but i see that most people always take it as something just for profit, trading or get rich quick type of thing. And i think that thing is one reason adoption for crypto will be slower and it will be seen in bad light for longer.
unlike stocks crypto can be used for payments, while it shares the volatility of stocks, i think it should be seen more differently and not compared to stocks as much, and have more uses for its actual transactions side.
Recognizing it as more so a currency and not just for trading, it will get accepted by more stores, thus making or even forcing more people to get into using it and setting it as an actual currency. and as a result of that it might get less volatile.
Do you think crypto will reach a day when its used transactionally as much as fiat is. because right now its treated more like stock market. I wonder are volatile currencies in developing countries being traded and treated as stock market too?
