Edit: So, apparently, according to some of you all, holding companies accountable to the terms of service they lay out is unacceptable. To those select few: you are part of the problem here. You let companies get away with so much simply because you don't want to read the terms you agreed to and hold the company accountable to their side of the terms.
Edit 2: I am appalled at the ammount of people who think it is completely acceptable for an exchange to say "Oh yeah, that deposit that came from your address with no memo? Yeah it's ours now. Thanks. Unless.... you want to pay us for it..."
Today I mistakenly deposited some tokens into Crypto.con with an incorrect memo.
Every support staff member I talked to claimed I would have to pay a $50 fee to receive my $15 of tokens.
Section 10.1 of the Terms and Conditions states that all applicable fees are listed in the app.
No where in the fees on the app at this moment is there anything about an invalid memo costing $50.
However, on the website this fee is shown on the "Missing Deposits" support page.
Despite being listed on the website, this fee is invalid as it does not appear on the in app fees page, which is the only source of fees listed in section 10.1.
10.2 does mention the website, but nowhere in section 10 is the website listed as an applicable source of fee information.
I need help here, I don't have $50 for the fee right now, and Crypto.con is holding my tokens hostage. And frankly, after reading the terms of service, I believe this fee is invalid.
