Cryptocurrency is 13 years old. The Stock Market is 491 years old.

I want to give a quick visual into how ancient the Stock Market actually is and to give a better perspective as investors frequently compare the two.

I feel like many of us are thinking extremely short term with Crypto. A lot of investors in here cannot even fathom giving a project 5 years of development time as we label anything that doesn't 10x a year a failure. This does nothing but put immense pressure onto Project founders who have to leap across time and space to not be considered a "scam".

The Stock Market currently has millions of people and their kids regularity investing a portion of their salary per month in hopes of retiring at 60 or 70, that is considered a success in the world of Stocks. If anybody mentions such a travesty of a timeline here, they will be met with "Who want's to wait that long buddy, I need it NOW!".

In Cryptocurrency, we have names for risky projects such as meme coin, scam, rug pull etc. Risk on the other hand during the introduction of the Stock Market meant betting on which ship would survive a Pirate attack aka it was just any other day. If your ship was the one that got looted/hijacked, tough because everybody moved on.

So to summarise patience is what I feel lacks in this space. I hope that we can learn how to utilise it instead of rejecting it.
