Day trading, is pseudoscience? Or legit? What do you think?

Personally, I've day traded quite a bit during the Bull run but once the Russia war hit I became an official bag holder. I thought I knew what I was doing, I thought I could read everything good but I was wrong. I do think that locating points of resistance and support by applying lines to your chart works, and I am big on using the RSI, but when something catastrophic happens I feel like all that goes out the window.

Therefore, I am on the fence whether day trading is legit or it's just a fantasy and people just get lucky?

Overall, I'm more gearing towards the thought that I just need to know what I'm doing a little bit more, and keep practicing to get good at it, but there has been so many times where I'm just dumb founded thinking like does this crap really work or not!???? Am I just doing it all wrong?
