“Dead” small-cap cryptocurrencies bouncing back?

Are there some examples of let's say a top 200 cryptocurrency that has been part of a scam/fraud or hacked in any way or the tech became obsolete and then it bounced back after it was declared "dead"?

I see positive sentiment here and there in reddit for some but not sure if that's just shilling or whether some currencies actually manage to do what Mr. Jesus did on Easter.

I’m not talking about a Kim Kardashian type of coin but rather one that had actual use and a devoted community behind it before things went wrong.

Is it possible that with the current uprising momentum some of these can come back from hibernation? Not giving any names of coins I have in mind here in order to not violate the rules.
