DeFi Explained - The Future of Finance

Hello everyone. I know DeFi is a difficult concept to explain to people and investors. I tried to explain it in a way regular people can understand, and even appreciate.

This is not supposed to be a high level study or infographic about decentralized finance, it's only goal is to be an basic introduction to the world of DeFi for people who haven't done any research about the topic.

As always, do your own research and don't fall for scams. I'm sure many of you have seen the news about rug pulls on stable coins, yield harvesting scams, pump and dumps, etc. Only invest in serious applications, and only use DeFi apps that have been peer-reviewed. It's always a pro if the code for the application has been made public.

(I know Cardano hasn't released smart contracts, but they are coming very soon and will have defi dApps as soon as they launch).
