I see a lot of users on this sub taking chances on shitcoins. LUNA has crashed so hard, wouldn't hurt to put some $50 dollars into it, would it?
I completely disagree with this kind of sentiment.
Real Vision Finance has a done series of interviews with the best investors in finance over the years. These interviews are publicly available, for example this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4_U6bS-cU4. I think they’re great and a great channel in general and I do recommend it.
There is one theme that emerges from all of the great investors : the idea of respecting your own money, to be extremely ruthless in terms of what deserves a spot in your portfolio.
Example, a Company slips up and you own some shares? Perhaps an incident, an allegation, or a wrong product decision etc. Well how is the CEO responding? If the CEO responds in a way that doesn’t completely satisfy you – immediately cut out of the portfolio. Bye.
Respect your money. Demand the highest standards of respects and ethics for your money. You, together with all other investors, be it in stocks, crypto or whatever, you are the one providing the money that makes the whole thing possible – demand the highest standard of respect for your money.
Lately we have seen examples on Twitter of these very boastful, very arrogant crypto project founders. People like Do Kwon.
Demand nothing less than the highest standards of conduct – or, in other words, demand respect for your money.
And that is why I think LUNA never deserves again not even a cent of your money, regardless of how low it goes in price.
