Democratic elections feel like a coin toss.

Some aspects of democratic elections are why I don't like voting. I'm not well versed in politics nor am I in any position to make accusations towards any particular government, I just simply feel like the current system is broken.

Individual parties advertise information, plans, promises, blah blah blah, though their respective media outlets in hopes to grab the attention of the average citizen. What happens if you agree with some of their points but disagree on others? you can't pick and choose the ideal government you want to see. As a result, there's never been a party that got %100 of my support.

Also, how are these parties made responsible to carry out their plans?

That got me thinking about decentralized governance and how it might look like used at a government level.

Not taking into account the slow and painstaking task of counting votes but voting on policies or bills makes more sense than trusting a group of individuals you don't personally know that you are supposed to trust to make decisions for your country.
