The crypto ecosystem is going through a bear market and the joy of the bull market seems like something distant now. One thing that we can continue to keep track of is the metrics and see if the ecosystem is still growing during the bear market or not.

One thing seems for sure, the number of daily new addresses has just hitted a new all time high for Bitcoin, more than 720,000 new addresses were created in one day. This news don't come alone and it's known that the number of addresses holding more than 0.1 BTC is increasing.

What does this means for Bitcoin?

It means that the growth continues to happen despite of the bear market, this is excellent news for everyone involved in crypto, it means that the ecosystem doesn't need the price to be always high for the technology to be adopted. People seem to be realising how important Bitcoin already is and how important it will be in the future.

The topic of the death cross being reached is on the news right now, but even if it's reached and the prices drop due to this, atleast it's known that the ecosystem keeps getting more adoption and that the technology is always evolving. If inovation keeps coming in the ecosystem, the prices will to follow and a short term drop might turn to a long term pump in prices.

It also seems that currently people aren't worried about the price, seeing the number of 0.1 BTC addresses getting higher also means that people are confident that Bitcoin will recover sometime in the future and that the bull run will come at full speed sometime in the future.

Another thing that keeps getting higher and higher, despite of some bumps is Bitcoin's hashrate, meaning that also miners are confident in the future of Bitcoin. The tendency of Bitcoin's hashrate over time continues to be getting higher.
