I've never fallen for a scam but this seems incredibly genuine. Basically I met this supposed Chinese American guy on a dating app. We talked about really esoteric topics philosophy, the local real estate market, his employer in the area and a mutual interest of investing. Several days later he brought up crypto and he asked me if I'd be interested in investing with him. After some hesitation I downloaded the wallet and he sent me a contact trading wallet www.okcmudreg.com/. Later come to find out that link was on a list of scams on a Chinese reddit page. I have "invested" roughly 3 months worth of my salary into this. I'm convinced this is a scam even though we have plans to meet face to face tomorrow at a restauant. I don't know what to believe. The platform is so sophisticated. When I try to pull my USDT out I get this message "Dear user, our company has received your withdrawal application. Please provide your personal identity information and we will review it immediately. Just provide your SSN and driver's license and provide a photo."
Could it be an incredibly advanced imitation of OK coin and if so do I have any options? Should I give my info?
Damn you guys like to beat someone when they're down.
