First off, I know. I know no one serious about Bitcoin would use something like CashApp. I’m not all that serious about it. I want to casually get involved like I have with investing over the past couple years. CashApp is appealing to me because it’s quick and easy. I don’t need my own hardware or to remember seed phrases. I don’t have to worry about losing access to my Bitcoin. I know that I wouldn’t actually own it myself but does this really matter? I should still be able to buy/sell at whatever the current price is.
What are the real drawbacks of buying Bitcoin through something like CashApp?
