Do I need to use trust wallet to turn bnb bep2 to bep20

As the title says, I wanna turn my bnb to bep20 so I can use pancake swap. I already have my bep2 tokens on the binance chain browser wallet. I’ve seen some people say that I can just send it from the bep2 to the bep20 wallet and it’d auto convert, but most people seem to just talk about trust wallet. So I was wondering if I had to send my bnb to trust wallet to convert it or could I just do it from the browser wallet.
