If BTC achieves real mass adoption, BTC whales will be by far richest and thus most influential people on earth. Do they deserve it? They bought a speculative asset when it cost cents. Does that mean they are smart or hard working or knowledgeable or visionary?
Judging by BTC events (like recent one in Miami), rampant maximalism and cockiness, cringworthy laser eyes etc they do look more like bunch of low brow lotto winners. They don't seem to have much more to say besides "crypto bring apes freedom, crypto go to moon"
Things seem to be better with altcoin whales, but will altcoins get global adoption without BTC leading the way...
