Do you ever feel guilty for recommending Bitcoin to others even though it's poised to go up!

I wonder if anyone can relate...

A few weeks ago, I told one of my friends about Bitcoin (he knew very little about it but was not into it at the time). I shared a few links and told him to do his own research and invest if he wants.

Today he told me that he bought 4.16 Bitcoins. He said he went down YouTube rabbit holes and thinks Bitcoin is the future.

He's upper middle class and can technically afford it. He's an adult and can make his own decision.

I think ultimately he is going to come out a winner in the long term (He does plan to hold long term which is good).

I told him to invest responsibly but the fact that he invested based on my recommendation kind of makes me feel a bit strange. If somehow he does lose a lot of money (which in the long run I think is unlikely but anything can happen) I would feel a bit uneasy.

Have you ever been in those type of situations? what are your thoughts on his 4.16 Bitcoin purchases at todays price?
