Do you go long? Short? or Neither

Are you a day trader? Are you just hodling? Or are you a day trader with no leverage?

I feel like at this point the only safe bet to maximize the gains for myself is to hodl. Every time I think we hit the top of a peak we keep going up. Every time I try to time the market it does the exact opposite of what I think it's going to do.

I am starting to think that day trading with leverage is a huge gamble because I stay getting wrecked. However, my biggest success with day trading was day trading DOGE but that was easy because of Elon Musk and AVAX last year, but we was on a bull-run.

Lastly, for those of you who have traded with leverage what are your biggest gains and what are your biggest losses I would love to know! Only reason why I'm asking all these things is because I'm seriously considering day trading with leverage on like a 5X again but it seems the consensus around here is that nobody is good at it but I feel like that is false so now I'm asking what you guys think?
