I came into crypto for the money but stayed for the tech. However, I am still here primarily to invest and take some profits if I can along the way. It is important to have a plan to invest - for me, it has been to DCA into crypto when I wisened up. In the last bull I bought lump sums at the top and frankly got burned by altcoins and the crash, so I have since licked my wounds and started to DCA, into BTC and ETH only, and consolidate my portfolio only into BTC and ETH.
Those who actually profit must be willing to take profits when in the black, and if we see a run in the next two years, do any of you have an exit strategy?
I am trying to finalize mine, and I am picking certain price points to sell X% of my holdings. E.g. if BTC hits 99,999K I will sell 25%. I will never sell all of my crypto.
If you have an exit strategy, what does it look like? If you had one before this last crash, did you follow the exit plan? And if not, how far did you stray from your plan?
